AxelMondrian team up with VWIFA and GIZ to bring Armenian wine culture into the European spotlight

Did you know that Armenia is home to around 450 indigenous grape varieties, with 55 actively cultivated across regions from Tavush in the north to Vayots Dzor in the south? This, along with many other intriguing insights, highlights Armenia’s positioning as a rapidly emerging global wine destination—a topic we discussed just last month.

To amplify Armenia’s wine story, we collaborated with VWFA (Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia) supported by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, to bring Armenian wine culture into the European spotlight. Our efforts have led to over 100 feature stories on key platforms, including a prominent feature in the Newswire network.
