Evgeniya Arzumanova is an English/French-Russian translator responsible for linguistic aspects of AxelMondrian projects.
Evgeniya started her professional career as a translator for a Russia-based consulting company, providing a large scope of financial and life insurance advisory services to individuals. Her openness to new experiences and intense practice took her to the position of financial specialist and subsequently – the head of the company’s client relations department combining functions in translation, investment, and insurance while assisting clients over the whole way starting from their entrance into the life insurance programme.
Evgeniya graduated from Moscow State Linguistic University (former Maurice Thorez Moscow State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages) with an honours diploma in translation and translation studies.
Three years later, she confirmed her qualifications in linguistics and literature by completing the translation of the first prominent book – From Dardanelles to Palestine, the memoirs of Sargis Torossian, published by the Armenian Genocide Museum and Institute and presenting the story of an Armenian officer in the Ottoman army. She then enriched her expertise in belles-lettres and memoirs by translating the autobiography of a co-founder of one of the world’s leading wealth management groups.
