Michael brings over two decades of international experience in strategic communication, political campaigning, and stakeholder engagement. With a doctorate in political science and a background in both digital innovation and lobbying, he bridges analytical insight with actionable storytelling and business strategy.
He has held senior roles at leading multinational agencies Ogilvy and Burson-Marsteller, where he led crisis communication, corporate positioning, and multi-market campaigns. As the founding managing director of BOLDT-BPI Germany, part of a global consultancy network, he was entrusted with building the German business from the ground up. Clients varied across the tech, healthcare, chemicals, FMCG, and nonprofit sector. Earlier in his career, he co-founded and led a Brussels- and Yerevan based NGO focused on EU-Armenia relations, a cause that remains close to his heart.
Michael’s expertise spans CEO positioning, crisis communication, political campaigns, media coaching, and AI-integration strategies. He has advised heads of state and CEOs of multinational corporations, navigating sensitive reputational challenges. His geopolitical perspective — shaped in part during his work for the Chairman of the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee — is complemented by deep field experience in Eastern Europe, especially Armenia. A native German, he is fluent in English, French, and Russian. He thrives where complex ideas need to resonate — across borders, languages, and audiences.
